A salad connoisseur.

going, going... gone., originally uploaded by jess sully.

Flynn loves his salad. His favorites are tomato and romaine, and his least favorites (which he has merely nibbled the last three times I offered it) are cucumber and carrots. I've never met a bunny who disliked carrots so much. It's odd!
Should I be limiting his fresh foods? I've only been giving him about a handful of lettuce and a couple slices of tomato and whatnot a day. He's eighteen weeks old today so I'd say his digestive system is definitely ready for it all- he hasn't had any troubles over the last week or so.

Tomatoes?! My favorite!
Thanks, mom.
An apple? For me?

Flynn looks like he's smiling in the photos! He really loves his salad!

Since he hasn't had any problems with greens, it should be fine to continue giving him the same amount, or to gradually increase the amount if you'd like to give him more greens later on :)

Buttons isn't too fond of carrots either. She eats them, but she only takes little nibbles at a time. Yohji would swallow the carrot whole, if he could LOL! Hans.. still not eating any greens/fruits.

Freckles takes spells when she won't eat carrots, but usually she loves them, especially if we shred them. Not cucumbers though...she wrinkles her nose and backs awsy!

Hmm, tomatoes are not on any bunny food lists I have ever seen....maybe you should check that out on-line or with a vet. Great close-up pics !!!!

Flynn is a beautiful rabbit and the photos are amazing. I would be careful with the amount of apples you give him. My Dusty loves apples but I think they upset her tummy and it can make her a little mean. Have you ever tried baking special bunny treats? I can give you the recipe if you like! Karen

Flynn is so photogenic! What a color!

There are formulas on the various rabbit how-to sites about how much greens. We have found that they can eat too many, especially fruits.

lucky bun - mater plants are sposedly poisonous but the maters themselves are ok. Greens are good - i never gave my buns enough!

what adorable photos in this and the last post. Lovely looking rabbit

Our old rabbit Anya wasn't hugely into carrots either and she didn't eat fruit... She loved brocolli and dandelions, grass and clover more than anything

Flynn is so adorable - each photo just gets cuter! I showed my boyfriend and he said "That's not real! That's fake!" Flynn is so adorable he looks like a fake bunny!

I had to reassure him that yes, Flynn IS real! :)
