Window-Licking Good :)

Window-Licking Good :), originally uploaded by jess sully.

Flynn had an unexpected start to his days of free-roaming my bedroom. Every morning when I wake up, I let Flynn run around while I shower and get ready to go to class. Well, I woke up late today and in my frenzy to make it to class on time, he decided to hide. I wasn't in the mood to chase him back to his cage, so I shut the bedroom door and left. Five hours later, I returned home to find one content little bunny relaxing against the heating vent. After a long inspection, I didn't find any incriminating evidence of chewed baseboards, cords, books, or carpet... so I think it was a success. You should've seen the look on his face when I burst into the room- he yawned and rolled over as if to say, "What's all the commotion about? Can't you see I'm trying to nap in MY room?"
As you can see in the above picture, he likes to be on my bed. And one of his favorite things to do WHILE he's on my bed is to look out and lick the window. Is this normal? He seems rather transfixed by it. Don't worry, the window hasn't been cleaned with chemicals or anything lately... what college student has time for that?

Hello there, reflection.
Hello there, Handsome!

Flynn is a stunning bun, and what perfect behaviour! I don't dare to think what the bedroom would have looked like if I had left there Miss Eve...Hugo is a good bunny, but Miss Eve is a little terrorist, I swear!

Maybe Flynn's trying to groom the bunny in the window? LOL!

I get what you mean about the triangle on his head now.. I can see it in the 2nd picture! It's kinda cute!

And oh! How exciting that you're getting another bunny!! Hope it's love at first sight for both buns :) Polish and NDs sometimes look alike to me.. I'm still not that good at identifying the differences in those 2 breeds. But they're both very adorable breeds!

Don't know why Flynn licks the window! Who knows what goes on in their little brains!

I sure wish I have a bunny with the Polish personality! Hans enjoys it when I pet him.. he lies there for as long as I keep petting him. But he doesn't like being carried.. he tolerates it for a while, then he gets agitated and wants to be let down.

The Polish breed isn't available here, so it'll be fun to read all about your new Polish bunny when you get her! When will you be getting her? I'm so excited for you and Flynn!

Oh, we're from Malaysia.. and no, it's not a strange question to ask us :p

The bunnies here are from a large, mixed up gene pool. Sometimes I see Lionheads with their mane and short broad ears, we have lops, I've even seen chinchilla coloured rabbits here. But I don't think we really had any pure breeds here until just recently.

Some petshops have imported Mini Rexes, I heard that they've even imported Flemish Giants, but I haven't personally seen them. And now there are 2 breeders here who have imported Holland Lops and Netherland Dwarf. So that's why we don't have polish here yet.. no one has imported this breed, as far as I know.

I love chocolate! Broken choc would be so nice! I hope you won't have to wait too long for your new bunny :)
