The Dog Bone Encounter.

100_3199, originally uploaded by jess sully.

Zuri's cage and all of her things are all set up in my room. Her cage is above Flynn's, and he seemed very anxious about it so I brought him up there to investigate. Well, I had completely forgotten this peppermint puppy bone that had come as a free sample with some of the supplies I ordered online. Flynn was quick to find it and enjoyed it immensely.
What a strange bunny!

Hey! Give it back!
Hey, give it back!
Dog Bone.

Maybe if I hold onto it...

Hark! What's that I hear?
Flynn's face after my boyfriend Eric burst into the room. They have mixed feelings about eachother. Sometimes they get along, sometimes they don't.

Male bonding time.

Eric & Flynn.

Zuri comes home tomorrow! We just got our first major snowfall of the year today, so hopefully the roads won't be terrible tomorrow. We have to drive 1 1/2 hours to pick her up.

I really enjoy seeing Flynn - he is so super cute! I love how he's not sure about your boyfriend - he probably doesn't like to share you with anyone else! Jealous! :D

Flynn is so adorable the way he latched onto that bone! We'll cross our fingers that Flynn and Zuri get along well. Good luck!

The mysterious, delightful, and quirky behavior of cats fascinates the human owner. The funny motion of a cat pushing forward its paws mimics the kneading of dough. It is almost comical watching a cat do so because they try to manipulate both their front and rear limbs while being seemingly zoned out.
You may notice that the cat is equally delighted in this moment of paddling and massage. The weird dance ritual could be that the cat is a professional masseuse, at least in the feline community. Why do cats need to do this? Is it a mechanical and biological motion? Or merely an instinctive behavioral normality? We can understand the phenomena by understanding the entirety of kneading.
